No, the Shankar Wexford Dining Chair requires assembly by the user upon delivery.
The package includes necessary hardware, but having your own set of hex keys or a screwdriver can speed up the process.
Yes, the metal leg construction is designed for durability and regular daily use in a household environment.
Yes, but it is highly recommended to attach felt floor protectors to the bottom of the metal legs to prevent scratching.
Yes, the Wexford series is also available in Green and Black variants to suit different color schemes.
Loosen the leg bolts slightly, place the chair on a level surface, ensure all legs are touching the ground, and then tighten the bolts firmly in a cross-pattern.
Do not fully tighten any single bolt until all bolts for that leg section are threaded into their respective holes, as this allows for small adjustments.
Assembly is straightforward but requires basic tools and patience to ensure all hardware is tightened correctly. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft surface, such as a rug or carpet, to prevent scratching the finish during the process.
For maintenance, wipe the seat with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to remove crumbs or dust. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may damage the upholstery material. Regularly check that the bolts attaching the legs to the seat frame remain secure, tightening them periodically if you notice any wobbling or loss of stability. We recommend using felt pads on the bottom of the metal legs to protect hardwood or laminate flooring from potential scuffs.
