The G.H Bass Weejun generally fits true to size, but since they are made of stiff, high-quality leather, they may feel snug at first.
Use a high-quality neutral or brown cream polish and a soft cloth to buff the hi-shine leather to restore its natural luster.
It is not recommended. Prolonged exposure to water can damage the leather uppers and soften the leather outsoles prematurely.
Use wooden shoe trees to keep the shape of the shoe and absorb any residual moisture from your feet.
Yes, they feature genuine handsewn true moccasin construction.
Yes, because they are made with quality leather construction, a professional cobbler can usually resole them once the original sole wears down.
Wear the shoes for short periods indoors to allow the leather to naturally mold to the shape of your feet.
This is common with new leather soles. The traction will improve as the sole surface scuffs and wears down with regular walking.
To ensure the longevity of your Weejun shoes, avoid exposing the leather soles to excess moisture, as water can cause the material to warp. Use a shoehorn when putting them on to maintain the shape of the heel counter. For cleaning, use a damp cloth to wipe away dust and debris, and occasionally apply a leather conditioner or cream polish specifically designed for hi-shine leathers to maintain the luster. Store them in a cool, dry place using shoe trees to help the leather retain its natural shape while drying out between uses.
