How many coats are typically needed?

Troubleshooting

Uneven color or patchy appearance

This usually indicates improper surface priming or insufficient mixing. Ensure the paint is stirred well and consider an additional coat.

Paint rubbing off during cleaning

Ensure the paint has fully cured (usually 2-4 weeks) before attempting wet cleaning. Use only a damp cloth and mild soap.

Visible roller marks

Avoid overworking the paint. Apply in a consistent 'W' or 'M' pattern and maintain a wet edge throughout the process.

Pros and Cons

Highly durable and wipeable matte finish
Excellent resistance to scuffs and marks
Low VOC and environmentally conscious formula
Suitable for high-traffic areas

Cons

Requires proper surface preparation for best results
Deep pigments may require multiple coats on light surfaces
Matte finish can be more sensitive to abrasive cleaning tools

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For optimal results, ensure the wall or ceiling surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or grease before application. If applying over fresh plaster, use a suitable primer to prevent uneven absorption.

Tools: Use a synthetic bristle brush for cutting in and a medium-pile roller for larger surfaces.
Application: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. Apply in thin, even coats, allowing sufficient drying time between applications as recommended by standard emulsion practices.
Care: While the paint is washable, avoid harsh chemical cleaners. Use a soft, damp microfiber cloth for routine cleaning to maintain the matte finish's longevity.
