Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Initial Fit
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely before putting on the shoe.
- Slide In: Gently slide your foot into the shoe, ensuring your heel is seated firmly against the back.
- Adjust Laces: Start tightening the laces from the forefoot towards the ankle. Ensure they are snug but not overly tight, allowing for natural foot flexion. Use the top eyelets for a more secure fit if needed.
- Walk Test: Take a few steps to ensure a comfortable fit. Your toes should have a small amount of space at the front, and your heel should feel secure without slipping.
Compatibility
These trainers are primarily designed for road running. They are well-suited for various road surfaces, including pavement, asphalt, and concrete paths. While they offer some versatility for light track work or well-maintained gravel paths, their optimal performance and durability are achieved on urban and suburban road environments.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: After runs, especially in wet or muddy conditions, gently brush off loose dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap (like dish soap) mixed with water and a soft brush or cloth to scrub the upper and sole.
- Drying: Always allow shoes to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage materials and adhesives. You can stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape.
- Storage: Store your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Rotation: If you run frequently, consider rotating between two pairs of shoes. This allows the cushioning to fully recover and can extend the lifespan of each pair.
