With an asymmetrical Overcurve upper, moderately stiff R4 sole, and a single Boa® closure, it's designed to suit a wide range of riders. This shoe offers an essential, timeless look with a distinct fizik identity and a smart form-fitting construction. The construction features a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural misalignment of the ankle's two bony protrusions for an asymmetrical shape. The closure is fast and secure with a single micro-adjustable Boa® IP dial. The R4 outsole is made of carbon injected nylon with a stiffness index of 7, balancing comfort and pedaling efficiency for all-around road cycling performance on paved roads, from smooth tarmac to demanding pavé. The cleat placement is optimized for pedaling efficiency and reduced knee compression, especially in aggressive aero positions.
