Troubleshooting

Zippers are stiff or difficult to move

Ensure the zipper track is clear of debris. Apply a small amount of wax (like beeswax or a zipper lubricant) to the teeth of the zipper to help it glide smoothly.

Strap adjustments are slipping

Check that the strap adjustment buckles are fully engaged and locked. Ensure the strap material is not folded or bunched within the buckle mechanism.

Bag has an odor after use

Empty the bag completely and air it out in a well-ventilated area, preferably in sunlight. For persistent odors, wipe the interior with a mild solution of water and baking soda, then rinse with a damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.

Water seeping through stitching

While the bag is designed for durability, prolonged heavy rain may lead to some moisture ingress through seams. For extreme conditions, consider using waterproof bags for highly sensitive items stored inside the main compartment or pockets.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Excellent organization with numerous external pockets for quick access.
  • Robust construction using durable materials like 600D Cordura and military-spec zips.
  • Versatile carrying options with both a handle and a shoulder strap.
  • Easy to clean due to the wipe-clean base and pocket bottoms.
  • Modular design offers potential for customization and expansion.

Cons

  • The DPM camouflage pattern is specific and may not be suitable for all fishing locations or user preferences.
  • Relies on external pocket organization, which might be less ideal for users who prefer a single, large main compartment.
  • Contents are not included, requiring separate purchase of fishing gear.
  • While described as deceptive in size, capacity limits may exist for larger items in the main compartment.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Speero Modular Carryall is designed for immediate use. Simply adjust the multipoint ergonomic shoulder strap to your preferred length for comfortable carrying. The removable inner soft pouch can be placed within the main compartment or used separately as needed.

Compatibility: This bag is part of the Speero modular clip system range, meaning it can potentially be attached to or integrated with other compatible Speero modular gear, expanding its carrying capacity and versatility.

Care: To maintain the carryall, wipe the exterior and the heavy-duty base/pocket bottoms with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these could damage the Cordura material or zips. Store in a dry place when not in use to prevent mildew.
