The Kookaburra Orbit Hockey Trainers are specialized athletic shoes designed for junior players who require enhanced speed, agility, and control on the pitch. These trainers excel at providing a stable, low-profile base for quick directional changes, though they are optimized specifically for hockey turf surfaces and may not offer the same performance for indoor court sports or casual off-field use.

While versatile, these are specifically optimized for field hockey turf. They may feel stiff on indoor gym floors compared to standard court trainers.
These trainers follow standard UK children's sizing. Ensure there is roughly a thumbnail's width of space between the longest toe and the front of the shoe.
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and the cushioning properties of the EVA midsole. Hand clean only.
They are designed for standard sand-based or water-based artificial hockey turf.
The EVA midsole provides foundational support, but if you have specific orthotic needs, the factory insole can be removed to accommodate custom inserts.
Use a soft-bristled brush to clear debris from the rubber tread patterns on the outsole.
Remove the footbed inserts and stuff the shoes with dry newspaper or a moisture-absorbing cloth overnight.
To ensure optimal performance, ensure the trainers are properly laced to provide adequate ankle support. These shoes are compatible with standard hockey field surfaces. To care for your Orbit trainers, avoid machine washing; instead, gently wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt and sand that can accumulate in the tread pattern. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can degrade the adhesive and cushioning materials over time.
