The Nike Kobe 9 EM Trainers are designed for active children who need a blend of legendary basketball aesthetics and reliable daily durability. These shoes feature a low-cut profile that supports movement, making them an excellent choice for both playground activities and casual sports, though parents should note the low-cut design provides less ankle support than traditional high-top basketball shoes.

Nike sizing is generally standard; refer to your child's current UK size, ensuring there is about a thumb's width of space at the front for growth.
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and adhesive of the shoes. Stick to manual spot cleaning.
Yes, these are designed with non-marking rubber outsoles suitable for indoor gymnasium surfaces.

Double-knot the laces or swap for textured athletic laces with better grip.
Use a specialized sneaker eraser or a gentle soft-bristled brush to remove surface debris.
Remove the insoles after activity to air them out and use a sneaker-specific antimicrobial spray.
Ensure the child is wearing appropriate athletic socks for the best fit. To maintain the appearance of the purple upper, clean them with a soft, damp cloth using mild soap. Avoid soaking the shoes in water or using harsh chemicals. Allow the trainers to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials over time. Periodically check the laces to ensure they haven't frayed and replace them if necessary to maintain a secure fit.
