Full details
The Lugg Vacay 32-inch checked suitcase is an ideal choice for frequent travelers and families who require a high-capacity luggage solution for extended trips. With a massive 130L internal volume and a protective, water-resistant hard shell, it ensures your belongings remain secure and dry during transit. While its generous dimensions provide plenty of space for long-term travel, travelers should be mindful that its size may lead to heavy weight loads, making it essential to monitor check-in weight limits to avoid airline surcharges.

FAQs
Is this suitcase suitable for international travel?
Yes, its size and integrated TSA lock make it appropriate for international travel, provided it meets the weight requirements of your specific airline.
Can I fit the 32-inch case into an overhead bin?
No, this case is designed exclusively for checked baggage and is too large for overhead compartments on commercial aircraft.
How do I clean the exterior of the shell?
Use a soft sponge or cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
What is the weight of the empty suitcase?
While weight may vary slightly, the Lugg Vacay series is constructed to be as lightweight as possible relative to its size to maximize your checked baggage allowance.
Does the hard shell crack easily?
The shell is designed for durability and impact resistance; however, extreme force may result in cosmetic stress marks or structural damage.
Troubleshooting
Lock combination is forgotten
If the combination is forgotten, the TSA lock can only be opened by authorized security personnel; contact a locksmith or the manufacturer for potential reset procedures if the lock remains closed.
Stiff telescopic handle
Ensure no dirt or debris is trapped in the tracks. Extend and retract the handle fully several times to loosen; a light silicone-based lubricant can be applied if friction continues.
Wheel movement feels sluggish
Check each wheel for tangled hair, threads, or debris wrapped around the axle. Carefully remove any obstructions to restore smooth rotation.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely spacious design for long-duration travel
- Water-resistant finish protects items from weather conditions
- High-security TSA lock ensures peace of mind
- Smooth 360-degree maneuverability with double wheels
Cons
- Large footprint may be difficult to store in smaller vehicles
- High capacity can lead to exceeding airline weight limits easily
- Solid hard shell does not offer external pockets for quick access
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the Lugg Vacay is straightforward; simply familiarize yourself with the TSA lock mechanism by setting your personal combination as outlined in the provided manual. Compatibility-wise, the 86 x 58 x 31 cm dimensions are standard for the checked luggage category; however, always verify individual airline restrictions before arriving at the airport to ensure you remain within size and weight thresholds. For care, wipe the hard shell down with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove scuffs and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the water-resistant coating. Ensure the telescopic handle is fully retracted before checking the bag to prevent bending or mechanical damage during the sorting process.
