Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your suede boots last, follow these care steps:
- Protective Spray: Apply a dedicated suede protector spray before wearing them outdoors to create a barrier against moisture and dirt.
- Routine Maintenance: Use a soft-bristled suede brush after each wear to remove loose dust and restore the nap of the material.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to prevent the suede from becoming stiff or discolored.
- Insole Management: If you use your own orthotics, remove the existing Gabor insoles first to ensure a proper fit inside the shoe.
- Moisture: If the boots get wet, stuff them with paper to absorb moisture from within and let them air dry naturally, never place them directly on a radiator.
