Isotex 15000 fabric provides a hydrostatic head of 15,000mm, meaning it can withstand a column of water 15,000mm high before leaking.

If water no longer beads up on the surface and instead soaks into the fabric, it's time to re-proof the DWR finish.

The jacket provides excellent rain protection but limited insulation. For cold weather, it is designed to be worn with insulating layers underneath, such as a fleece or down jacket.

The jacket has a breathability rating of 15,000 g/m²/24 hours, which is considered good for outdoor apparel, allowing significant moisture vapor transfer.

The lower pockets have snap fastenings, and there is an internal security pocket. While designed to keep contents dry, they are not sealed and may not be fully waterproof in extreme conditions.

Wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C with liquid detergent and tumble dry on a low heat setting. Avoid fabric softeners and powder detergents.

The durable water repellent (DWR) finish may have worn off. Wash the jacket according to care instructions, then tumble dry on a low heat setting. For best results, apply a specific outdoor fabric re-proofer.

Gently clean the zipper teeth with a soft brush and mild soap. Ensure there is no debris caught in the zipper. Lubricate with a wax-based product if necessary.

Check the cord lock mechanism. If it is not holding the cord tightly, the lock may be worn or damaged and might need replacement.

This can indicate reduced breathability. Ensure the garment is clean, as dirt and oils can clog the membrane. Wash and tumble dry as per care instructions.
