Product Information

Full details

This Polo Ralph Lauren Oxford Shirt in Slim Fit and Pink is designed for the modern adult male seeking a stylish, versatile wardrobe staple. Its key benefit lies in its tailored fit and breathable cotton material, making it suitable for both casual and semi-formal occasions. A potential caveat to consider is the 'Custom Fit' designation, which is a trim fit between Classic and Slim, so checking sizing recommendations is advised for the perfect fit. Key features include 100% cotton construction, a button-down point collar, short sleeves, and the iconic embroidered Polo Pony.

FAQs

What does 'Custom Fit' mean for this shirt?

'Custom Fit' is a tailored fit through the waist, sitting between Polo Ralph Lauren's Classic Fit and Slim Fit. It offers a more refined silhouette than a classic cut but with slightly more room than a slim fit.

How should I care for my 100% cotton Oxford shirt?

Machine wash in cold water with like colors. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Iron on a medium setting if needed. Avoid bleach.

Is this shirt suitable for formal events?

This shirt is best suited for smart-casual or business-casual settings. While made of Oxford cloth, its short sleeves and typical styling make it less ideal for formal black-tie or business attire.

How do I style the pink color?

The pink color pairs well with neutral tones such as navy, grey, white, and beige. It can be worn with jeans, chinos, or tailored trousers.

What is the material composition of this shirt?

The shirt is made from 100% cotton.

Can I wear this shirt in hot weather?

Yes, the 100% cotton fabric is breathable, making it a comfortable choice for warmer weather. The short sleeves also contribute to its suitability for hot conditions.

Where is the Polo Pony logo located?

The signature multicoloured Polo Pony is embroidered on the left side of the chest.

Troubleshooting

Shirt appears wrinkled after washing.

Ensure the shirt is ironed while slightly damp on a medium heat setting. For best results, consider hang drying and ironing immediately after it dries.

Shirt has shrunk after drying.

Avoid high heat settings during washing and drying. Opt for cold wash cycles and low heat or air drying in the future. If shrinkage is significant, consider sizing up on future purchases.

Embroidery is damaged.

Avoid direct heat or harsh scrubbing on the embroidered area. If ironing is necessary, iron around the logo or on the reverse side with a pressing cloth.

Collar points are not staying crisp.

Ensure the collar is properly ironed. Using a collar stiffener or ensuring the collar is fully dry before wearing can help maintain its shape.
