Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Ensure the boots are laced securely but not overly tight. The midcut Primeknit collar should feel snug around your ankle. Experiment with different lacing patterns to find the most comfortable and secure fit for your foot.
- Break-in: Like most high-performance boots, a short break-in period may be beneficial. Wear them for light training sessions before a full match to allow the materials to conform to your foot.
Compatibility
These boots are designed for Firm Ground (FG) and Artificial Ground (AG) surfaces. This means they are suitable for natural grass pitches that are firm and dry, as well as modern artificial turf (3G/4G). They are not recommended for soft, muddy natural grass or older, abrasive artificial turf (1G/2G) as this can damage the studs and compromise performance.
Care
- Cleaning: After each use, clean your boots to remove dirt and debris. Use a soft brush or damp cloth for the upper. For the soleplate, use a brush to clear mud from between the studs. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing, which can damage materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can cause the materials to crack or shrink.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Wear: As noted in the product description, the lacquer finish on the bottom of the soleplate may wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic occurrence and will not affect the performance or durability of the boots.
