The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Origin Story' is a premium high-top trainer designed for adult fans of the Air Jordan 1 series and the Spider-Man franchise, offering a unique aesthetic that mirrors the pair worn by Miles Morales in *Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse*. It features a classic Chicago-inspired colorway enhanced with distinctive reflective polka dot detailing on the leather overlays, making it a standout collector's item. One caveat for prospective owners is that the light-colored, icy translucent outsole is prone to visible wear and discoloration if worn frequently outdoors on abrasive surfaces.

This shoe was created to celebrate the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, designed to mirror the pair worn by the character Miles Morales.
The polka dot pattern is subtle in normal daylight but becomes more visible when light reflects directly off the leather overlays.
While they are based on the original basketball design, modern performance sneakers offer better cushioning and support; these are intended for lifestyle wear.
Store them out of direct sunlight and in a humidity-controlled environment, as UV rays and oxidation are the primary causes of yellowing.
The upper is constructed from premium leather, featuring leather overlays with a unique reflective dot pattern.
Use a damp microfiber cloth with a small amount of mild dish soap to gently wipe the rubber until clear.
Use internal shoe trees when not wearing the trainers to help the leather retain its shape and minimize permanent creases.
To ensure your Air Jordan 1s remain in top condition, keep them away from excessive heat and direct sunlight, which can cause the translucent rubber outsole to yellow prematurely. When cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush and a mild, leather-safe cleaning solution on the upper, avoiding aggressive scrubbing of the reflective polka dot areas to prevent pattern degradation. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place with shoe trees to maintain their shape, and avoid storing them in plastic bags which can trap moisture and accelerate material breakdown.
