Salomon XT EVR GTX - Black - UK 10

The Salomon XT EVR GTX is inspired by mountain technology but is primarily designed for everyday wear and light trails. For very technical or demanding terrain, a more specialized hiking boot might be recommended.

UK size 10 is a standard measurement. We recommend trying them on if possible, or comparing measurements with a shoe that fits you well. Check the internal length and width to ensure a comfortable fit without pressure points.

No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the materials, adhesives, and the GORE-TEX membrane. Hand wash with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry.

The GORE-TEX membrane is durable. Its effectiveness can be maintained through proper cleaning and care. Over time, and with heavy use, waterproofing may naturally decrease, but regular maintenance helps prolong its performance.

The CHASSIS design provides enhanced stability and a secure foothold, offering confidence and support during movement on varied terrain.

This specific product guide is for the black variant. Other color options may be available within the Salomon XT EVR GTX series. Please check product listings for available colors.

Standard athletic socks or hiking socks made of synthetic materials or wool blends are recommended. Avoid cotton socks, as they can hold moisture and lead to discomfort.

Check for obvious tears in the GORE-TEX membrane or damaged seams. Ensure the shoe was not submerged in water for extended periods. Clean the shoes as per care instructions, as dirt can impede breathability.

The CONTAGRIP sole provides excellent traction, but extreme conditions may still pose a risk. Ensure the sole is clean and free from mud or debris that could reduce grip. Walk cautiously on very slick surfaces.

Adjust the lacing for a more personalized fit. Ensure you are wearing appropriate socks. If the issue persists after a break-in period, the shoe's shape may not be ideal for your foot.

Remove insoles and allow them to air out separately. Sprinkle baking soda inside the shoes overnight to absorb odors. Wash the shoes if necessary, following the care instructions, and ensure they are completely dry before storing.
