Forge RH28ZP General Purpose Pozi Screw Round Head TT ZP 2in x 8 Box of 200. These Forgefix General Purpose Pozi Screws with round heads are zinc plated finish for increased durability. They are versatile screws, suitable for use in and with many materials. Ideal for use in many ironmongery, electrical and plumbing applications. Can be used with various screw cover caps. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish by forming a barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide forms a fine white dust that does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate's surface integrity. The Pozidriv screw has four additional points of contact and does not have the rounded corners that the Phillips screw drive has, preventing cam-out and allowing great torque to be applied. It can be distinguished by a line embossed in the screw head at 45° to the slots. Round headed screws have a flat under head surface, ideal for laying flat on sheet material. These screws have twin threads for an easy start when driving.
