The Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 is a high-performance racing shoe designed for runners who prioritize speed and explosive energy return on road surfaces. It serves neutral runners looking for a lightweight, propulsive platform for race days and tempo training; however, its aggressive construction and specialized stack height mean it is best reserved for speed work rather than daily casual walking or long-distance recovery runs.

While durable, it is specifically engineered for racing and speed work; you may prefer a more cushioned, less aggressive shoe for easy daily mileage.
The shoe features an 8mm drop.
These are designed for road surfaces. The carbon plate and foam geometry are not optimized for uneven or technical trail terrain.
Most runners find them comfortable immediately, but it is recommended to do a few short, fast sessions before wearing them for a full race to get used to the propulsion.
The Endorphin Pro 5 runs true to standard athletic sizing, but ensure you have about a thumb's width of space in the toe box for comfort during longer efforts.
Ensure the laces are tied snugly to keep the foot locked in place; if discomfort persists, verify you are utilizing the correct size for your arch shape.
While the PWRTRAC outsole provides excellent grip, ensure the treads are free of mud or debris that can block the rubber from making full contact with the surface.
To ensure the best performance from your Endorphin Pro 5s, take the time to dial in your lacing tension before your first run, as the performance upper is designed to be form-fitting.
Compatibility: This is a neutral road shoe. It is not intended for off-road trails or synthetic track surfaces where spiked shoes may be required.
