These boots are water-resistant thanks to their leather construction and robust sole. However, they are not fully waterproof on their own. For enhanced protection against heavy rain or wet conditions, it's recommended to treat the leather with a suitable waterproofing spray or wax.

Breaking in Dr. Martens typically involves wearing them for short periods initially (1-2 hours) with thick socks. Gradually increase the wear time each day.
