ProDec Paint Brush - 1" Synthetic

This brush is engineered for optimal performance with water-based paints, including emulsions, gloss, and satin finishes. It is also excellent for water-based woodstains and varnishes.

While it can be used with oil-based paints, it is primarily designed for water-based formulations. For heavy oil-based paints, natural bristle brushes are generally recommended for best results.

Clean the brush immediately after use with warm water and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly, reshape the bristles, and store it flat or hanging to prevent damage.

The 1-inch (25 mm) size is ideal for smaller jobs, touch-ups, and detailed areas. For larger surfaces like walls or ceilings, a wider brush would be more efficient.

Synthetic filaments are engineered to provide excellent paint pick-up and release, especially with water-based paints. They tend to be more durable and easier to clean than natural bristles for these types of coatings.

The rounded beavertail handle is shaped to fit comfortably in your hand, providing a secure grip and reducing fatigue during prolonged painting tasks.

The ferrule, the metal part that connects the bristles to the handle, is made of durable stainless steel to prevent rust and ensure the bristles stay firmly attached.

Ensure the brush is cleaned thoroughly after each use and stored correctly. Reshape the bristles while damp and allow to dry flat or hanging. Avoid storing with bristles pressed down.

Ensure you are using the correct type of paint for synthetic bristles (water-based recommended). Make sure the brush is adequately loaded with paint and that you are using smooth, consistent strokes. Clean the brush thoroughly if residue from previous jobs is present.
