Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown (the knob on the side) out to the farthest position. Rotate the crown to move the hands until the correct time is displayed. Ensure to set the AM/PM correctly; typically, the date changes around midnight. If it changes at noon, you are 12 hours off. Once set, push the crown back in fully.
- Setting the Date: Gently pull the crown out to the first position (halfway). Rotate the crown to adjust the date wheel until the correct date is shown. Push the crown back in fully.
- Using the Chronograph: The chronograph functions are typically operated by the pushers above and below the crown. The top pusher usually starts and stops the chronograph, while the bottom pusher resets it to zero.
Compatibility
The watch features a 20mm wide bracelet with a length of 20cm. This size is designed to fit a wide range of wrist sizes. If the bracelet is too large, a professional jeweler can usually adjust or shorten it. For smaller wrists, the silicone material provides some flexibility.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: To keep your watch looking its best, regularly wipe the rose gold PVD case and white silicone bracelet with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish and material.
- Water Resistance: Remember the 50-meter water resistance rating. Always ensure the crown is pushed in completely before any contact with water. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet.
- Impact & Temperature: Avoid strong impacts or dropping the watch. Extreme temperature changes can affect the watch's accuracy and integrity. Do not expose it to prolonged direct sunlight or very cold temperatures.
- Battery Replacement: As a quartz watch, it requires a battery. When the watch stops or the seconds hand jumps irregularly, it's time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have this done by a professional watchmaker to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.
- Storage: When not wearing your watch, store it in its original box or a soft pouch to protect it from dust and scratches.
