Wilsons Cold Pressed Lamb Dog Food - 2kg

Cold-pressed food is made by pressing ingredients together at low temperatures, which helps retain more natural nutrients and makes it easier to digest. Traditional kibble is baked or extruded at high temperatures, which can degrade some nutrients and make it harder to digest.

Yes, Wilsons Cold Pressed Lamb Dog Food is suitable for dogs aged 2 months and older, including puppies, as it is nutritionally complete.

Feeding guidelines vary based on your dog's age, breed, and activity level. Refer to the feeding guide on the product packaging for recommendations, and consult your veterinarian for personalized advice.

Wilsons offers a range of allergy-friendly recipes, including grain-free and chicken-free options. The lamb recipe is a good starting point for many dogs with sensitivities, but always check the ingredient list and consult your vet.

The main ingredients include dried ground lamb, rice, sweet potato, peas, rapeseed oil, lamb hydrolysate, beet fibre, kale, seaweed, and various minerals and vitamins. A full ingredient list is available on the product packaging.

Store the food in a cool, dry place. Once opened, ensure the bag is sealed tightly or transfer the food to an airtight container to maintain freshness.

While Wilsons Cold Pressed is designed to stay fresh when sealed, it's best to consume it within 4-6 weeks of opening to ensure optimal freshness and nutrient content. Proper storage is key.

Gradually transition over 7-10 days, mixing with current food. Try slightly warming the food or adding a small amount of dog-safe broth to enhance aroma and palatability.

This can be a sign of digestive adjustment. Slow down the transition process, extending it beyond 10 days if necessary. Ensure you are feeding the correct portion size.

Wilsons Cold Pressed pellets are dense and can sometimes appear dusty. This is normal and does not affect nutritional value. Ensure adequate water is always available.

Transfer the food to an airtight container for storage to maintain freshness and prevent moisture or pest contamination.
