Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup: As with any new bicycle, it is recommended to have the Cube Nulane professionally assembled and tuned by a qualified bike mechanic. This ensures all components are correctly installed, adjusted, and safe for riding. Key areas to check include brake and gear indexing, tire pressure, and headset adjustment.
Compatibility: The bike is designed for standard cycling components. The flat mount disc brakes offer broad compatibility with modern wheelsets and brake systems. The 12x142mm rear and 12x100mm front thru-axles are standard dimensions. The frame and fork are compatible with pannier racks and full-coverage mudguards via the integrated mounting points.
Care: To maintain the Nulane's performance and longevity, regular cleaning is essential, especially after riding in wet or muddy conditions. Use mild soap and water with a soft cloth or sponge to clean the frame, drivetrain, and wheels. Avoid high-pressure washers, which can damage bearings. Periodically check tire pressure and inspect tires for wear or damage. Lubricate the chain regularly with a suitable bicycle chain lubricant. Ensure brakes and gears are checked for proper function before each ride.
