Product Information

Full details

The Under Armour ArmourVent Low Cap is designed for adult athletes and outdoor enthusiasts who require maximum breathability during intense exercise in hot conditions. Its primary benefit is the combination of highly ventilated fabric and an Iso-Chill cooling sweatband, which actively works to disperse heat and keep you dry. The main caveat is that the structured, pre-curved design may not be ideal for those seeking a soft, packable headwear option for travel.

FAQs

Is this cap machine washable?

It is recommended to hand wash only to protect the structured front panel and ventilation mesh.

What does the Iso-Chill sweatband do?

It is designed to disperse body heat away from your skin, providing a cool-to-the-touch sensation.

Is the cap adjustable?

This model is sized specifically (S/M, M/L, L/XL) rather than using a rear strap, ensuring a consistent, tailored fit.

Can I wear this for swimming?

While the materials are fast-drying and polyester-based, it is designed for athletic performance rather than submersion in chlorine or saltwater.

Does it offer protection against sun glare?

Yes, the pre-curved visor is specifically designed to provide consistent shade for your eyes.

Troubleshooting

Hat feels too loose or tight

Ensure you have selected the correct size variant (S/M, M/L, or L/XL) as this cap utilizes a specific fit structure rather than a universal strap.

Sweat stains on the exterior

Rinse the affected area with mild soap and water immediately after use to prevent salt buildup from the sweat.

Pros and Cons

Not intended for packing into tight bags
Structured front may feel stiff to some users
Limited to low-profile silhouette

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This cap features a classic adjustable fit depending on the size purchased (S/M, M/L, or L/XL). To maintain the cap's integrity, hand wash in cool water using mild detergent. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying, as the heat and agitation can distort the structured front panel and compromise the ventilation mesh. Air dry by reshaping the crown to ensure it stays in its original form. Store the cap on a flat surface or a hat rack rather than folding it to prevent permanent creasing of the structured front.
