Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your toaster, place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface with adequate clearance from wall cabinets. Before the first use, operate the toaster on its highest setting without bread inside to burn off any manufacturing residue. For daily care, unplug the unit and let it cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive scourers that could damage the matte finish or gold accents. Regularly slide out the crumb tray over a bin to empty it; never attempt to turn the toaster upside down to shake out crumbs, as this can damage the internal heating elements.
