FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
They are designed for general activity, school play, and casual movement, but they are not specialized performance racing shoes.
How do I determine the correct size?
Under Armour sizes generally follow standard UK children's sizing; we recommend measuring the foot with a sock on and allowing a small amount of room for growth.
Can these be put in the washing machine?
It is not recommended. Machine washing can damage the materials and the structural integrity of the trainers; spot cleaning is the preferred method.
Does the AC stand for Adjustable Closure?
Yes, the AC indicates the model features an adjustable closure system designed for easier fastening.
Are these shoes waterproof?
They are not waterproof; they are made of breathable materials that allow for airflow but will absorb water in wet conditions.
Troubleshooting
Adjustable closure losing grip
Clean the hook-and-loop fastener with a soft brush to remove lint, hair, or debris that may be preventing a secure connection.
Scuffing on white accents
Use a specialized rubber eraser or a damp cloth with mild soap to gently buff away surface scuffs on the midsole.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Assert 11 AC trainers, keep the following tips in mind:
- Fit: Ensure the child is wearing appropriate thickness socks to achieve the best fit for their foot size.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried dirt. For stains on the mesh or white soles, spot-clean using a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid submerging in water or using a washing machine, as this can degrade the adhesive and materials.
- Storage: Air out the shoes after heavy use to prevent moisture buildup and odors. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from becoming brittle.
