Refer to the ASICS size chart and measure your feet. It's best to measure your feet at the end of the day when they are at their largest.
While the GEL-Kayano 20 is designed primarily for running, it can be used for light cross-training activities. For more intense cross-training, consider a shoe designed specifically for that purpose.
Replace your shoes every 300-500 miles, or sooner if you notice a significant decrease in cushioning or support.
The GEL-Kayano 20 may be available in wide sizes; check the product specifications. If not available in wide sizes, consider other ASICS models designed for wider feet.
It's not recommended to machine wash the GEL-Kayano 20. Clean them with a damp cloth to protect the materials and construction.
Warranty information can vary by retailer and region. Please check with the vendor for specific warranty details.
Ensure you have the correct size. Try loosening the laces or wearing thinner socks. Consider the break-in period for the shoe to conform to your foot.
Ensure the shoes have not exceeded their recommended lifespan (typically 300-500 miles). Consider replacing the shoes if the cushioning has deteriorated.
Evaluate your gait and running surface. Consider a running style that minimizes friction. Avoid using the shoes on overly abrasive surfaces.
No specific setup is required; the GEL-Kayano 20 is ready to wear right out of the box. Ensure proper sizing before use.
Care Instructions:
Regular care will help maintain the shoe's performance and extend its lifespan.
