No, the Wella Professionals Oil Reflections Smoothing Oil is a leave-in product and does not require rinsing.

Always start with a small amount, typically 1-2 drops for short to medium hair, and adjust as needed. For longer or thicker hair, you might need 3-4 drops. Distribute evenly through the mid-lengths and ends.

You may have used too much product. Start with a smaller amount (1-2 drops) and add more only if needed. Ensure you are distributing the oil evenly, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the roots.

Ensure hair is not overly saturated with water if applying to wet hair. Squeeze out excess water thoroughly. If applying to dry hair, ensure it's not already heavily coated with other styling products.

Verify that you are using the correct amount for your hair type and length. For thicker or longer hair, slightly more might be needed, but always start small. Ensure the product is applied to the hair strands rather than just the scalp.
