FAQs

Are these shorts suitable for intense running?

While they feature moisture-wicking fabric, their relaxed, baggy design is better suited for casual wear, weight training, or light activity rather than long-distance running.

Can I dry these in a high-heat dryer?

It is recommended to use low heat. High heat can damage the specialized synthetic fibers and degrade the elastic waistband.

Do the pockets have zippers?

The pockets are designed for easy access; please check the item upon arrival as they typically feature an open-pocket design for essentials.

What is the primary material?

The shorts are made from Nike's signature synthetic Dri-FIT blend, optimized for sweat management.

How do I determine the right waist size?

These shorts feature an elastic waistband with a drawcord, allowing for a flexible fit. Choose your standard trouser size for the intended relaxed look.

Are these shorts machine washable?

Yes, they are fully machine washable. Follow the care label instructions inside the garment for best results.

Troubleshooting

Drawstring feels loose or slips

Tie a double knot after adjusting to your desired tension to prevent slippage during activity.

Fabric retains odor after washing

Ensure you are using a sports-specific detergent and avoid using fabric softener, which can trap oils and odors in synthetic fibers.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Nike 24.7 Shorts remain in peak condition, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash in cold water with like colors. Avoid using heavy detergents or bleach, which can compromise the moisture-wicking properties of the Dri-FIT fabric.
Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Overheating may cause the elastic in the waistband to lose its tension over time.
Fit Adjustment: Utilize the external drawcord to tighten the waistband before engaging in any rigorous movement to prevent the shorts from shifting.
Storage: Fold or hang to maintain the shape of the leg design and avoid unnecessary creasing.
