Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting your Predator Elite Laceless FG boots on is straightforward, though it may take a few attempts to find your ideal method. The Primeknit collar is designed to be snug. Gently pull the collar open and slide your foot in. Ensure your heel is properly seated in the heel counter for a secure fit. Since there are no laces, the fit relies on the boot's engineered upper and collar.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are best suited for natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly damp. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or very hard/dry ground may lead to premature wear of the studs and is not recommended for optimal performance or durability. They are a unisex adult design.
Care
To ensure your adidas Predator Elite Laceless FG boots remain in top condition and perform effectively:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and grass with a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher grime, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly. Do not machine wash or use harsh detergents.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight or artificial heat sources (like radiators) as this can damage the materials and cause cracking or shrinking.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape.
- Soleplate Lacquer: As mentioned, the lacquer finish on the bottom of the soleplate is cosmetic and may wear off during play. This is a normal part of product usage and will not affect the performance or integrity of the boot.
- Material: The HybridTouch upper is a synthetic material, making it relatively easy to clean and maintain compared to natural leather.
