The adidas Handball Spezial is an iconic trainer designed for adults who value a blend of vintage aesthetic and daily comfort. Featuring a premium suede upper and a distinct gum sole, these trainers provide excellent cushioning for casual wear, making them a staple for those seeking a retro look; however, the suede material requires diligent care to maintain its appearance in wet or muddy conditions.

No, washing machines can damage the suede and the integrity of the adhesive. Stick to dry cleaning methods.
These are designed as lifestyle trainers rather than high-performance running shoes and lack the technical support required for long-distance exercise.
Use a mild soap and a damp cloth to wipe the rubber sole, then dry immediately with a clean cloth.
Yes, they generally fit true to standard adult sizing, though some users prefer a half-size up for a more relaxed fit.
Applying a specialized suede water-repellent spray can help protect the material from light moisture and dust.
Use a specialized suede brush or a dry, soft-bristled brush to gently remove loose dirt.
Allow the shoe to air dry completely, then use a suede eraser or brush to lift the nap of the material.
When sizing your Handball Spezial, standard adult sizing generally applies; ensure you account for socks to achieve your preferred snugness. To maintain your trainers, use a suede-specific brush to remove surface dust after each use. Avoid machine washing or submersing the suede in water, as this can degrade the material and alter the shoe's shape. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the suede from becoming brittle or stiff.
