Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your silk pajamas maintain their luster and integrity, strict care protocols must be followed.
- Washing: Use a neutral detergent specifically formulated for silk. Hand-washing is the safest method, though a delicate machine cycle using a mesh laundry bag may be acceptable if your machine has a specific silk setting.
- Drying: Never wring the silk to remove water. Gently roll the garment in a clean towel to absorb excess moisture, then hang it in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight.
- Ironing: If needed, iron the garment inside out while it is slightly damp, using a low temperature setting to avoid damaging the fibers.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and avoid hanging on sharp hangers to prevent fabric stretching or snagging.
