Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: This wallpaper utilizes a "paste-the-wall" system. Apply wallpaper adhesive directly to the wall surface where the first strip will be hung. Measure and cut your wallpaper strips according to the wall height, allowing for a small overlap at the ceiling and skirting board. Press the dry strip firmly into the pasted wall, smoothing it with a wallpaper brush or roller to remove air bubbles. Continue with subsequent strips, ensuring a close match at the seams.
Compatibility: Suitable for application on most prepared interior walls, including plaster, plasterboard, and previously painted surfaces that are sound and properly prepared. Ensure walls are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose paint before application. For best results, use a high-quality wallpaper adhesive suitable for heavy or textured papers.
Care: To clean the wallpaper, use a slightly damp cloth or sponge. Avoid excessive moisture or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage the textured finish and metallic accents. For stubborn marks, a mild soap solution can be used sparingly, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth. Ensure the area dries completely afterwards. Due to its textured nature, it is not recommended for areas with high moisture exposure like bathrooms without proper ventilation and sealing.
