Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
The Fribo Tall Narrow Cupboard requires self-assembly. It is recommended to lay out all components and review the instruction manual thoroughly before beginning. A standard set of household tools, typically a screwdriver (Phillips head) and a hammer, will be needed. Assemble on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching the furniture. Ensure all cam locks and screws are tightened securely for stability. For safety, it is highly recommended to secure the unit to a wall using the provided anti-tip hardware, especially in homes with children or pets, to prevent accidental tipping.
Compatibility
This cupboard's minimalist and geometric design makes it highly compatible with modern, contemporary, and Scandinavian-inspired interior styles. Its Alpine White finish offers a neutral palette that integrates seamlessly with a wide range of existing decor colors. The narrow footprint is particularly advantageous for smaller rooms, apartments, hallways, or any area where maximizing vertical storage is key.
Care
The Fribo cupboard is constructed from durable laminated chipboard and other resistant materials. To maintain its appearance and longevity:
- Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher marks, a mild, non-abrasive household cleaner can be used, followed by wiping with a dry cloth to prevent moisture buildup.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes that could damage the laminate finish.
- Protection: While resistant to moisture, scratches, and heat, it's best to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent color fading and use coasters or mats under hot items placed on top.
- Stability Check: Periodically check all assembly hardware to ensure it remains tight and secure, preventing any wobbling.
