FAQs
Are these suitable for long walks?
The Lacoste Serve Slide features arch support and is comfortable for casual wear. For extended walking on hard surfaces, the EVA material might offer less cushioning than shoes specifically designed for that purpose.
How do I clean my Serve Slides?
You can clean them by wiping with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.
What is the material of the Lacoste Serve Slide?
They are made from a lightweight and soft EVA monobloc construction.
Do these slides offer good grip?
The EVA material provides a reasonable grip for everyday use. However, caution is advised on very smooth or wet surfaces.
Can I wear these in the shower?
Yes, the EVA material is water-resistant and suitable for use in environments like the beach or poolside.
How should I store the slides when not in use?
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat to preserve the material.
Is the arch support significant?
The footbed has molded arch support designed to enhance comfort during wear for a relaxed fit.
Troubleshooting
Slides feel too stiff initially.
EVA material often softens with wear. Try wearing them around the house for short periods to break them in.
Strap feels loose.
The design is a fixed strap. If the fit is too loose, consider a half-size smaller if available, or ensure your foot is positioned correctly within the footbed.
Soles feel slippery on certain wet surfaces.
While EVA offers some grip, caution is advised on extremely smooth, wet surfaces. Ensure the bottom of the sole is clean.
