FAQs
When is the best time to plant these Geums?

Do I need to bring them indoors during winter?
No, Geum Firestarters are hardy perennials and are designed to stay outdoors throughout the year.
Can I plant these in pots?
Yes, they perform exceptionally well in containers as long as the pot has adequate drainage holes.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your plants thrive, follow these guidelines:
- Preparation: Dig a hole twice the size of the 9cm pot to allow for easy root expansion.
- Soil: Mix in compost or organic matter if your soil is heavy or lacks nutrients, ensuring excellent drainage.
- Planting: Place the root ball at the same depth it was in the nursery pot and firm the soil gently.
- Watering: Water thoroughly immediately after planting and keep the soil consistently moist but not saturated during the first growing season.
- Maintenance: Deadhead spent flowers throughout the season to encourage the plant to divert energy into producing new buds.
