Yes, this shade is designed as an 'easy-fit' model, meaning it can be used on either a ceiling pendant cable or a lamp base.
No, the shade does not include a light bulb. We recommend using an LED bulb for energy efficiency and reduced heat.
The shade fits standard E27 (4cm) holders and includes a reducer ring for smaller E14 (3cm) holders.
Use a dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush to gently remove dust from the folds. Do not submerge the shade in water.
The shade is manufactured to meet safety standards for residential lighting; however, always use the correct wattage LED bulb to prevent unnecessary heat buildup.
Ensure the retaining ring on your lamp holder is fully tightened. If the shade still wobbles, check that the reducer ring is seated correctly inside the fitting.
The double-walled fabric naturally diffuses light; ensure you are using a bulb with sufficient lumens (brightness) for the specific room size.
Installation of the Saffira shade is straightforward. To install, simply unscrew the retaining ring from your existing lamp holder, place the shade's fitting over the socket, and screw the retaining ring back on to secure the shade in place.
