Setup, Compatibility & Care
First-Time Use & Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely before putting on the boots. Once your foot is in, tighten the laces evenly from toe to ankle, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. The lace closure allows for personalized tension.
- Break-In Period: While the soft synthetic upper is designed for comfort, a short break-in period (1-2 light training sessions) is recommended to mold the boots to your foot shape.
- Fit: The boots are designed for a regular to wide fit. Ensure your toes have a small amount of space at the front without your heel slipping.
Compatibility
These boots feature an FG/AG (Firm Ground/Artificial Ground) outsole, making them suitable for:
- Firm Natural Surfaces: Traditional grass pitches that are not excessively wet or muddy.
- Artificial Grass (4G): Modern synthetic turf pitches. Avoid using on 2G or 3G pitches, as the stud configuration might be too aggressive and could cause discomfort or damage to the boots/pitch.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. For stubborn mud, a soft brush can be used on the soleplate.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or tumble dryers, as extreme heat can damage the synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Deodorizing: Insert shoe trees or crumpled newspaper into the boots to help absorb moisture and maintain shape. Odor-absorbing inserts can also be used.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. A boot bag can protect them from dust and scratches.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the materials and print details.
