The Origin Rugs Scalloped Elsie Rug in blue is an ideal choice for homeowners looking to add a stylish, modern focal point to narrow spaces like hallways or galley kitchens. It offers a luxurious feel underfoot and a distinct, decorative aesthetic; however, given its elongated 67cm x 230cm dimensions, it is best suited for high-traffic corridors rather than large living areas.

No, it is not recommended to machine wash this rug. Spot cleaning or professional cleaning is advised.
While not strictly required, a non-slip rug pad is highly recommended to keep the rug in place on smooth surfaces.
The rug is constructed for durability, but avoid pulling at the edges or using a vacuum with a beater bar, which can cause wear.
The rug measures 67cm in width and 230cm in length.
Like most textiles, prolonged exposure to intense, direct sunlight may cause minor fading. Rotating the rug occasionally can help ensure even wear.
Place heavy objects like books on the corners for 24-48 hours, or use a rug gripper to hold the edges flat.
It is normal for new wool-style rugs to shed initially. Frequent, gentle vacuuming will decrease this over the first few weeks.
To set up your rug, ensure the floor surface is clean and dry before unrolling. Because this rug is a long runner, we recommend using a non-slip rug pad underneath to prevent shifting and to protect your flooring. Compatibility is broad, as the blue hue works well with both neutral-toned furniture and painted walls. For care, vacuum regularly using a suction-only setting to avoid damaging the scalloped edges. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub, as this can push dirt deeper into the fibers. Professional cleaning is recommended for deep stains or periodic refreshing.
