FAQs

What is Dolby Vision and how does it improve picture quality?

Dolby Vision is a High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology that provides enhanced contrast, color, and brightness. It delivers brighter highlights, deeper blacks, and a wider spectrum of colors compared to standard HDR, resulting in a more lifelike and immersive viewing experience.

How do I access live and on-demand TV without a dish or aerial?

This TV has Freely built-in, which allows you to stream live and on-demand channels directly over your Wi-Fi connection. You'll need a stable internet connection to use it.

Can I use voice commands to control the TV?

Yes, the TV supports voice control through Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and VIDAA Voice. You can use these to search for content, change channels, adjust volume, and more.

What does TRU Flow and TRU Resolution do?

TRU Flow is a motion interpolation technology that reduces image judder and blur, making fast-paced scenes appear smoother. TRU Resolution is an upscaling technology that enhances the quality of lower-resolution content to appear sharper and more detailed on the 4K screen.

Is this TV suitable for gaming?

The TV supports a 60Hz native refresh rate and has a response time of 6ms, along with a Game mode. While suitable for casual gaming, it may not be ideal for highly competitive gamers who require extremely low input lag and very high refresh rates.

What is the energy efficiency rating of this TV?

The TV has an Energy Efficiency Class D rating for SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) content and Class G for HDR (High Dynamic Range) content, based on the new energy labels.

Can I mount this TV on a wall?

Yes, the TV supports VESA mounting with a 200 x 200 mm interface. A mounting kit is not included, so you will need to purchase one separately.

Troubleshooting

TV won't turn on.

Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the TV and a working wall outlet. Check if the standby indicator light is on. If not, try a different outlet.

No picture or sound.

Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections (HDMI, aerial, etc.) are secure at both ends. If using external devices, check their power and connection status.

Smart features not working (e.g., apps won't load, Wi-Fi connection issues).

Ensure your TV is connected to a stable internet connection. Restart your router and modem, then restart the TV. Check for available software updates for the TV.

Picture quality is poor or distorted.

Check the signal strength for your TV source. If watching streaming content, ensure a stable internet connection. Adjust picture settings such as brightness, contrast, and sharpness in the TV menu. Ensure TRU Flow and TRU Resolution are configured to your preference.

Remote control is unresponsive.

Replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's sensor. Try re-pairing the remote if it supports that function.

Cons
