The Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless Hyperspeed keyboard is designed for gamers seeking a compact, high-performance, and versatile setup. Its key benefit is the lag-free Hyperspeed wireless technology combined with a tenkeyless design for maximized desk space. FAQs

What type of switches does this keyboard use?

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless Hyperspeed features mechanical switches that are hot-swappable, allowing for customization with compatible switch types.

How long does the battery last?

The battery life can last up to 980 hours with the backlight turned off on a full charge, depending on usage patterns and lighting settings.

Can I use this keyboard with a Mac?

Yes, basic functionality is supported on macOS. However, advanced customization for lighting and keybinds requires Razer Synapse, which is primarily designed for Windows.

What is the difference between Hyperspeed Wireless and Bluetooth?

Hyperspeed Wireless uses a 2.4 GHz connection for a faster, more responsive, and lag-free experience ideal for gaming. Bluetooth is more power-efficient and allows for easy pairing with multiple devices, but may have slightly higher latency.

How do I replace the key switches?

Gently use a switch puller tool to remove the existing key switch. Align the new switch with the socket and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the pins are straight before insertion.

Does this keyboard have dedicated media controls?

No, the Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless Hyperspeed does not feature dedicated media control keys. Multimedia functions are typically accessed via function key combinations.

What is included in the box?

The box typically includes the Razer BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless Hyperspeed keyboard, a USB Type-C charging/data cable, a Hyperspeed 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, and documentation.

Troubleshooting

Keyboard not detected in wireless mode

Ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged in. Try a different USB port. Check battery level and charge if necessary. Re-pair the keyboard with the receiver via Razer Synapse if prompted.

Keys not registering or acting erratically

Check for any debris under the keycaps. Try re-seating the affected key switch if hot-swappable. Ensure N-key rollover is enabled in software. Test in wired mode to isolate wireless interference.

RGB lighting not working or behaving strangely

Ensure Razer Synapse software is running and up-to-date. Check lighting profiles and effects within the software. Try resetting the keyboard to factory defaults via software or hardware combination.

Bluetooth connection is unstable

Ensure the keyboard is within range of the Bluetooth device. Minimize interference from other wireless devices. Update Bluetooth drivers on your computer. Try re-pairing the keyboard.
