FAQs

Does this charger come with a power adapter?

No, the package includes the charger and a USB-C cable, but you must provide your own USB wall adapter (22.5W recommended).

Can I charge just one battery at a time?

Yes, the dual-slot design allows for either single or simultaneous dual-battery charging.

Is this compatible with third-party batteries?

Yes, the charger is designed to work with both original Nikon EN-EL15 series batteries and third-party equivalents.

Can I check battery levels without plugging the charger into power?

Yes, the LED indicators can display the battery level in 20% increments by pressing the status check feature even when disconnected from power.

What happens if the charger gets too hot?

The built-in intelligent circuitry will automatically slow down or halt the charging process to protect the safety of the batteries.

Troubleshooting

Batteries are charging slower than expected

Ensure you are using a power adapter rated for at least 22.5W. Lower wattage power sources will significantly increase charging time.

Red warning light is flashing on one channel

This indicates a critically low battery or potential contact issue. Ensure the battery is seated firmly and the contacts are clean.

LEDs do not light up when batteries are inserted

Check the power source connection and ensure the USB-C cable is fully seated in both the charger and the power adapter.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To begin using the charger, simply connect the provided USB-C cable to a power source capable of delivering at least 22.5W. Insert your Nikon EN-EL15 series batteries into the slots, ensuring the contact points align correctly. The charger supports EN-EL15c, EN-EL15b, and EN-EL15 models. For maintenance, keep the charging contacts clean of dust or moisture. Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures or high humidity. If you are not using the charger for an extended period, it is recommended to disconnect it from the power source and store it in a dry, ventilated area.
