FAQs

Are the Adidas VL Court 3.0 shoes waterproof?

No, they are made of leather and are not waterproof. We recommend using a leather-safe water-repellent spray if you expect light rain.

Can I use these for running?

These are classified as trainers for lifestyle use and do not contain the specialized cushioning or stability features required for running.

How do I ensure the right fit?

The VL Court 3.0 follows a regular fit. You should select your standard UK size; if you prefer a thicker sock, consider sizing up by a half size.

Are these shoes unisex?

Yes, many variants are designed as unisex, making them a versatile choice for any gender.

Can I remove the insole?

The insoles are generally fixed. We advise against removing them to maintain the structural integrity of the shoe's interior.

Troubleshooting

Creasing on the leather upper

This is natural for leather shoes; use shoe trees when not in use to help maintain the original shape.

Dirty rubber outsole

Use a soft-bristled brush with a mixture of mild soap and water to gently scrub the sidewalls.

Laces coming undone

Ensure a double knot is used, or replace with slightly textured athletic laces if the factory laces feel too slick.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Timeless, minimalist design that pairs well with various outfits
High-quality leather construction for long-term wear
Soft internal lining increases comfort for all-day use
Reliable traction from the vulcanized rubber outsole

Cons

Not intended for high-impact sports or gym activities
Leather requires periodic care to prevent scuffing
Low-profile design offers less arch support than specialized running footwear

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your VL Court 3.0 trainers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:

Sizing: These shoes follow standard sizing. Ensure you check the UK sizing provided for the specific variant.
Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt. For stubborn stains on the leather, use a mild leather cleaner.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent leather drying or cracking.
Maintenance: Avoid machine washing, as it can damage the leather and the vulcanized bond of the outsole.
