The Vans Old Skool 36 LX is designed for adult skate and streetwear enthusiasts who appreciate a blend of vintage-inspired aesthetics and modern comfort. This iconic silhouette offers a unique, collectible-grade design with layered textures and purposeful distressing, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a pre-worn look right out of the box. Please note that the pre-scuffed finish and removable pins are integral parts of the design, which may not appeal to those who prefer a pristine, brand-new appearance.

Yes, the Vans Old Skool 36 LX generally fits true to standard adult sizing.
The insole is removable, allowing you to swap it for custom orthotics if required.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dust. Do not saturate the tweed with water.
No, the distressing is a factory-applied finish meant to be a permanent feature of this series.
The upper is constructed from a combination of canvas and leather overlays.
Ensure the backing mechanism is fully locked in place; if the pin back becomes loose, replace it with a standard locking clutch.
The pre-scuffed aesthetic is intentional; however, if you wish to clean it, use a damp cloth without abrasive chemicals to maintain the distressed texture.
For the best fit, ensure you are wearing the appropriate socks for your activity level, as the padded collar provides a snug fit around the heel. To maintain the shoes, avoid machine washing; instead, spot-clean the canvas with a soft brush and mild soap. Leather overlays should be treated with a leather-appropriate cleaner to prevent cracking. Given the pins, it is recommended to keep them in a safe place if you choose to remove them for a cleaner look or for activities where they might snag. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the blue color depth.
