FAQs
What material are the Birkenstock Mogami Terra Stealth sandals made of?
The specific materials can vary slightly, but the Mogami Terra Stealth typically features a Birko-Flor upper and a cork-latex footbed.
How do I find the right size?
Refer to the Birkenstock sizing chart, paying attention to both the length and width indicators. Many users find Birkenstocks fit true to size, but if you are between sizes, it's often recommended to size down.
Can I wear these sandals in water?
While they can handle light splashes, they are not designed for prolonged water submersion. Water exposure can affect the cork footbed and adhesives over time.
Are these sandals suitable for wide feet?
Birkenstock offers both regular (medium) and narrow width options for many models. Check the specific product details for width availability, as the Mogami Terra Stealth is typically available in a regular width.
What is the return policy if they don't fit?
Return policies vary by retailer. Please consult the specific seller's return guidelines for information on exchanges or returns due to sizing.
How do I clean the cork footbed?
Gently wipe the cork footbed with a damp cloth. For tougher stains, use a mild soap solution sparingly and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Allow to air dry completely.
Do these sandals offer arch support?
Yes, all Birkenstock sandals feature an anatomically shaped footbed designed to provide excellent arch support and promote foot health.
Troubleshooting
Straps feel too loose or too tight.
Adjust the buckles on the straps to achieve a secure yet comfortable fit. Ensure the buckles are properly fastened after adjustment.
Footbed feels stiff initially.
The cork footbed may require a short break-in period. Wear the sandals for a few hours each day to allow them to mold to your foot's shape.
Slipping occurs on wet surfaces.
The outsole provides some traction, but caution is advised on very wet or slippery surfaces, as with any sandal.
Discoloration of the material.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat. Clean with a damp cloth as needed, and allow to air dry away from heat sources.
