FAQs

Is this jacket waterproof?

While the design provides excellent protection against cold and snow, it is primarily intended for thermal insulation rather than heavy-duty rainfall.

How do I clean the faux fur?

Spot clean the faux fur with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then brush it gently once dry.

Can this be machine washed?

We recommend following the specific instructions on the internal care tag; typically, a low-temperature, gentle cycle is best.

Is the hood removable?

The hood is an integrated part of the jacket design to ensure maximum heat retention.

Does it come in different sizes?

Yes, this model is available in various children's sizes to ensure a proper fit as your child grows.

Is it suitable for both boys and girls?

Yes, the ARCTIC ARMY Long Puffer is a unisex garment designed to fit all children comfortably.

Troubleshooting

Zip is sticking or hard to pull

Ensure no fabric is caught in the track and clean any debris from the teeth using a soft toothbrush.

Loss of insulation loft

Gently shake the jacket after washing to redistribute the inner padding evenly.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent insulation for very cold weather
Provides more coverage than standard puffer coats
Practical pocket design for daily utility
Durable materials suitable for active kids

Cons

Longer length might limit active play compared to shorter styles
Requires careful cleaning due to faux fur trim
Heavier than lightweight windbreakers

Setup, Compatibility & Care

There is no complex setup required; the jacket is ready to wear straight out of the box. For compatibility, the neutral aesthetic and unisex design allow it to be paired easily with various winter accessories like scarves, beanies, and insulated boots. Regarding care, always check the garment label. Typically, avoid aggressive washing cycles to preserve the loft of the internal padding. If the faux fur trim becomes matted, use a soft-bristled brush to gently restore its texture. Always air dry the jacket away from direct high-heat sources to prevent synthetic damage.
