Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure optimal performance, verify your nail gun settings before beginning your project. If using a pneumatic nail gun, adjust the depth of drive to ensure the head sits flush with the surface without crushing the wood fibers. When installing by hand, use a standard claw hammer, taking care to strike the head squarely to avoid bending the shank. For storage, keep the nails in a cool, dry place to prevent premature oxidation; since they have a bright finish, any exposure to water will lead to rapid surface rust. Always use appropriate safety gear, including impact-resistant safety glasses, when driving fasteners.
