This Traditional Antique Pewter Reeded Beehive D-Bar handle is ideal for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts looking to add a touch of vintage charm and farmhouse character to their cabinetry. The handle has 160mm hole centres, an overall length of 182mm, a width of 22mm, and a projection of 38mm.
Please verify your specific package contents upon arrival, as individual handles may require screws suited to your specific cabinet material thickness.
This handle is primarily designed for indoor furniture and cabinetry; prolonged exposure to outdoor elements may affect the finish.
Because this features a rustic, aged finish, there may be subtle variations in the tones that contribute to the unique, handcrafted look of each piece.
Yes, it is designed to coordinate with other pieces in the traditional antique pewter range, such as the matching pull knobs.
Check that the mounting screws are fully tightened; if they remain loose, ensure the screws are the correct length for the thickness of your cabinet door.
Measure the centre-to-centre distance precisely. If it is not 160mm, you may need to fill existing holes and re-drill to match the handle's specification.
To install, verify that your cabinetry has holes spaced exactly 160mm apart (measured from the centre of one hole to the centre of the other). If you are drilling new holes, use a paper template to ensure precise alignment before proceeding. Once positioned, secure the handle using appropriate bolts tightened from the inside of the door or drawer. To maintain the finish, clean with a soft, lint-free dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can strip the rustic, aged patina of the pewter finish over time. For best results, tighten the hardware periodically if used on high-frequency doors.
