The Nike Free Metcon 5 is a hardcore training shoe designed for women. It features a wide heel for a solid base during weight lifting, with softer foam for cushioning and a firmer outer layer for stability. The internal weave distributes pressure for comfort and support during dynamic movements. The shoe has a breathable white mesh upper with tonal taping and synthetic leather overlays, plus a 7/8-length inner sleeve for easy entry and a sock-like feel. A white molded heel clip provides rear foot support. The midsole has black speckling on the white surface for a stylish touch. The rubber outsole has enhanced tread in high-wear areas and incorporates Nike Free technology in the forefoot for flexibility. Released July 1, 2023.
