Is the 14-inch screen large enough for split-screen multitasking?

The 14-inch screen is adequate for side-by-side document viewing, though users who frequently require extensive screen real estate may prefer an external monitor for desk use.

How do I maintain the battery life?

Avoid leaving the device plugged in at 100% charge for extended periods if possible, and ensure the ventilation vents are not blocked during use.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

When you first unbox the Acer TravelMate B5, follow the on-screen Windows prompts to configure your user account and network settings. To ensure longevity, keep the laptop in a padded sleeve when transporting it to prevent screen scratches or casing damage. Regularly run Windows Update to keep your security definitions current. For compatibility, the USB ports allow for the connection of peripherals such as wireless mice or external hard drives if you find the internal 128 GB storage insufficient. To clean the exterior, use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth; avoid using harsh chemicals directly on the screen.
