FAQs
Is this cover machine washable?
It is recommended to clean the cover by hand with a damp cloth and mild detergent to preserve the waterproof coating.
Can I put the cover on a hot car?
No, wait for the engine and exhaust system to cool down completely before applying the cover to avoid damaging the fabric or the vehicle's finish.
Is this cover breathable?
The material is designed to be waterproof, but it is best to remove it periodically to allow any trapped moisture to evaporate.
What if my car is smaller than the XXL dimensions?
While the elastic hem provides a snug fit, using a cover too large for your car may cause excessive slack, making it more prone to flapping in the wind.
Does it protect against UV rays?
Yes, the durable fabric helps shield the vehicle's paintwork from sun damage and fading during long-term exposure.
Troubleshooting
Cover keeps blowing off in high winds
Ensure the elastic hem is fully tucked under the bumpers and that the cover is centered correctly on the vehicle.
Water pooling on the roof
Check that the cover is pulled taut across the roofline; adjust the placement to ensure a tighter fit.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Goodyear cover, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Preparation: Always ensure your car is clean and dry before applying the cover. Grit or water trapped between the cover and the paint can cause damage over time.
- Application: Begin by placing the cover over the roof, then align it with the front and rear bumpers. Use the elastic hem to secure the fit under the chassis.
- Cleaning: If the cover becomes dirty, wipe it down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow it to air dry completely before folding it for storage.
- Storage: Fold the cover neatly when not in use. Avoid storing it while wet to prevent the growth of mildew.
